The perfect Christmas card and gift for your Dad in one fabulous package.
These personalised wooden Christmas cards feature a handsome Emperor penguin in his snowy home. The penguin later pops out to become a lovely Christmas tree decoration to hang year after year.
Dads can be notoriously tricky to buy for, he never wants anything! All your pops really wants to know is that you think of him and love him and this clever card and gift combination is just the ticket.
The wintery design is UV printed directly onto sustainable poplar plywood creating a brilliantly unique Christmas greeting card. Amongst the stars in the night sky there is space for your own personalised greeting. We know fathers and know they will be impressed with the penguin when it pops out of the wooden card to become a Christmas tree bauble. We've even included the ribbon he'll need to hang on his tree.
The impressive Emperor penguin was hand-painted by Betsy. If you're curious, you can see a time-lapse of the process on Instagram.
If you're not able to visit your Daddy in person this Christmas then we can post this directly to him. The wooden card is presented in a white slide-open gift box, so it makes a fabulous card/gift to send in the post.
We've found a great and sustainably sourced poplar ply for this personalised Christmas decoration from some wonderful timber merchants practically on our doorstep. It means we can keep our carbon footprint low which is really important to us. The Christmas decoration comes with a length of ribbon to make the penguin ready to hang on your tree.
As a natural product, there may be some variations in the colour and texture of the wood, including thinner or thicker growth patterns from the tree and the odd knot or burr in the wood. This is what makes natural wood so beautiful and is part of the product, not a flaw.
