And then there are people who have a sourdough starter with a name, a feeding routine and quite possibly a better social life than the rest of us.

This personalised sourdough notebook is very much for those people.

Featuring illustrations of lovely artisan sourdough loaves across the cover, it's a place to record all those recipes, experiments, proving times and tiny adjustments that make the difference between a reasonable loaf and one you're photographing from six different angles.

You can personalise the front with absolutely any wording you like. Add a name, an in-joke, a bread-related boast or something completely ridiculous. "Dave's Dough Bragging Book" is a particularly fine example, if we do say so ourselves.

Lovely on the outside. It's 100gsm, so all sorts of pens and inks work beautifully on it. Whether you're carefully recording a new recipe or scribbling down what went wrong with Tuesday's loaf.

The page edges are dyed to match or complement the colourful covers, and there are two matching ribbon markers.
