Our personalised family silhouette print makes a great gift for parents, grandparents, or simply to decorate your own home.
You know sometimes you capture the perfect shot of the kids or the family, but one of them is blinking and one of them doesn't like the face they had pulled or the jumper they were wearing that day. And there's always at least one person that just doesn't like the way they look in any photos that exist of them on the entire planet. Well, this is your solution!
Our gorgeous silhouette prints are created from your own photographs, stripping back the fussy and distracting details and backgrounds, and leaving only the stars of the show in silhouette with one or two important details picked out to give it style and substance.
This personalised family print also has the option for you to add a line or two of custom text to the print. So you might choose a name and date for example.
Designed using a palette of contemporary and vintage-inspired colours, our prints are professionally produced and are made to last a lifetime.
Your silhouette can be illustrated in a variety of colours and you make your colour choices from our colour swatch shown in the product image.
You need to select a background colour and then choose a colour for each silhouette and up to 2 accent colours.
You can upload your image when placing your order or you can e-mail your photo to rachel@betsybenn.co.uk.
Choose a photo that shows off the individuals best. Images holding hands or playing work well. Make sure your photo is of a good enough quality to show up details, and remember that wispy hair and clothing add to the charm of the final silhouette.
We will remove any unnecessary detail, such as the background, other people and items, unless they are key to the image (such as toys). Your print will be designed in the orientation that best suits the photo provided.
Once your silhouette has been designed we will e-mail you a digital proof. You can then change the colours and text before we print. We will only then print your design once it is approved.

Changing the photograph after your design has been created will incur extra charges so if you are unsure whether your photo will be suitable, we recommend you get in touch before you place your order and we can advise.

Our unique family silhouette prints are individually designed to your requirements and a giclee print is then created using ultrachromatic professional inks on archival enhanced matte paper.
Our frames are handmade for us in the UK by master craftsmen using FSC approved timber. Available in black, white or oak, framed prints are mounted and glazed using high quality float glass.
These silhouette prints are available in a number of sizes and finishes to suit.
A4 UNFRAMED ONLY – Printed on sheet A4 paper, the design includes a small white border around all sides. Posted with Royal Mail in a flat protective envelope.
A3 UNFRAMED PRINT ONLY – Printed on sheet A3 paper, the design includes a small white border around all sides. Posted via Royal Mail, rolled in a protective cardboard tube.
A3 FRAMED PRINT – Printed on sheet A3 paper, we mount and then also frame your print for you in one of our handmade frames. Perfect for impressive and stress-free gifting. Framed prints are delivered by Parcelforce and will require a signature on delivery. If you provide a mobile number you will receive pre-delivery notification via SMS with options to rearrange when necessary. Please note we are only able to send framed prints within Mainland UK.

Founded in 2010, Betsy Benn is a unique online shop for unique and unusual stationery, gifts, and artwork. Led by Betsy herself, our small, all-female team is passionate about helping you to tell your story through design, and we love hearing and reading your stories.
All of our products are created in house and are made to order. For items that do not require proofing, we aim to post within 1-2 days of you placing your order. Items that require a proof will take a little longer and we will only post once you are completely happy with the design. If you have ordered a framed print or a canvas, then this will add around a week to the whole process.
If you have a date that you need something by, please let us know and we'll do our best to meet your requirements.
- Standard delivery is £2.75 and free to all postcodes within mainland UK on orders over £25. We use Royal Mail Tracked 48 to provide a fully trackable service.
- Express delivery is £6.95. We use Royal Mail Tracked 24 for this service.
- International delivery is £12. We use Royal Mail's Tracked international service.
- For large bulk orders additional courier charges will apply. Please contact us for a quote.
